Concern/Complaints
The State Licensing Board for General Contractors number one goal,
is to protect the health,
safety and welfare of the general public in the state of Alabama.
Therefore only properly licensed and qualified persons are permitted
to engage in the practice of general contracting in the state of
Alabama.
As a licensing body, this Board has
the authority to take disciplinary action against unlicensed
contractors as well as licensed contractors, by proving a
violation of the licensing law governing the practice of general
contracting. Disciplinary action may range from criminal
charges, fines, or revocation of license.
